Jewelry Care

Jewelry Care

A Lunai piece is designed to last. With a little care, it will keep its character and finish over time.

Keep the shine

Our pieces are treated to help preserve their natural luster, but everyday care makes a difference.

Avoid wearing your jewelry while sleeping, showering, or during workouts.
Keep it away from perfumes, lotions, cleaning products, chlorine, and saltwater.

Over time, exposure to air can soften the shine, so proper storage is important.

Clean it gently

You can clean your jewelry using mild soap, lukewarm water, and a soft toothbrush, paying attention to small details.

Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.

Gold-plated pieces require extra care — clean them gently to avoid wearing down the plating.

A silver polishing cloth can help restore brightness, though it will not remove scratches.

Store it with care

When not in use, keep your jewelry in a cool, dry place — ideally in a padded box or a tarnish-resistant pouch.

Individual airtight bags also work well.

Avoid rubber containers, as they can accelerate tarnishing, and do not store your jewelry in the bathroom.

Please note: Lunai jewelry boxes are designed for presentation and gifting, but they are not airtight and are not intended for long-term storage.

A note on gold-plated pieces

Gold plating is naturally delicate. Its longevity depends on factors such as skin pH, exposure to products, and daily wear.

With mindful care, your piece will maintain its warmth and finish for as long as possible.
