Lunai Jewelry Care
A Lunaijewelry piece is timeless — and you’ll want to keep it that way.
Here are a few simple tips to help care for your jewelry so it stays beautiful for years to come.
Keep the shine
Our pieces are treated with a special technique to help preserve their luster.
Still, a little care goes a long way.
-
Avoid wearing your jewelry to bed, in the shower, or during workouts.
-
Keep it away from perfumes, lotions, cleaning products, chlorine, and saltwater.
-
Even exposure to air over time can dull the shine, so store it properly.
Clean it gently
Mix a little mild soap with lukewarm water and use a soft toothbrush to clean your jewelry — especially tricky corners.
Rinse with clean water.
Gold-plated pieces need extra care: rub lightly to avoid wearing down the plating.
A silver-polishing cloth can restore brightness, though it won’t fix scratches.
Store it right
Keep your jewelry in a cool, dry place — ideally in a padded jewelry box or a tarnish-resistant pouch.
Individual airtight bags work well too.
Avoid rubber containers (they speed up tarnishing) and never store your jewelry in the bathroom.
Note: our Lunaijewelry boxes are beautiful for gifting, but they aren’t airtight, so they’re not meant for long-term storage.
A note on gold-plated pieces
Gold plating is delicate by nature. How long it lasts depends on factors like your skin’s pH, exposure to products, or even how much you sweat.
Proper care will keep it shining as long as possible.
