Lunai Jewelry Care
Jewelry Care
A Lunai piece is designed to be timeless — and with a little care, it can stay that way for years to come.
Here are a few simple guidelines to help you keep your jewelry looking beautiful.
Keep the shine
Our pieces are treated using a special technique to help preserve their natural luster. Still, everyday care makes all the difference.
We recommend avoiding wearing your jewelry while sleeping, showering, or during workouts.
Keep it away from perfumes, lotions, cleaning products, chlorine, and saltwater.
Even exposure to air over time can soften the shine, so proper storage is important.
Clean it gently
From time to time, you can clean your jewelry using mild soap mixed with lukewarm water and a soft toothbrush, paying special attention to small details and corners.
Rinse gently with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.
Gold-plated pieces need extra care — clean them lightly to avoid wearing down the plating.
A silver-polishing cloth can help restore brightness, though it won’t remove scratches.
Store it with care
When not in use, keep your jewelry in a cool, dry place — ideally in a padded jewelry box or a tarnish-resistant pouch.
Individual airtight bags also work very well.
Avoid rubber containers, as they can speed up tarnishing, and never store your jewelry in the bathroom.
Please note: our Lunai Jewelry boxes are designed for gifting and presentation, but they are not airtight, so they’re not intended for long-term storage.
A note on gold-plated pieces
Gold plating is delicate by nature. Its longevity depends on factors such as skin pH, exposure to products, and daily wear habits.
With mindful care, your piece will keep its warmth and shine for as long as possible.
